Hartford Court Land's End Pinot Noir 2005 "Most of the grapes came from the Annapolis Vineyard, with some Seascape. While the vintage was cool, it gave incredibly long hangtime. Dry, crisp and delicate, the wine has silky voluptuousness that makes it irrestible, with pie-filling cherry and black raspberry flavors finished with Asian spice. New French oak adds toast and vanilla sweetness. It is expensive, but still a bargain."
La Revue du Vin de France, June 2006 - Lassegue 2005, 1 of the top 10 wines of Bordeaux for the 2005 vintage. Awarded Three Glasses in the "Exceptionally made wines" group with Cheval Blanc and Chateau Ausone, described as "a wine of great finesse, voluptuous and harmonious."
